Mission Statement
The APPI Special Interest Group (SIG) on Assessment and Evaluation is a professional learning community focused on exploring and improving the quality and effectiveness of assessment and evaluation practices in education.
This group provides a platform for sharing best practices, approaches, strategies and tools that prioritize learning, growth, and equity over traditional grading systems.
We intend to team up with APPI members interested in discussing current trends and build a culture of assessment that values learning.

- Encourage collaboration among teachers to rethink how we assess and evaluate.
- Create opportunities for teachers to collaborate across institutions, and educational levels.
Technology Integration
- Explore digital tools that enhance assessment and feedback processes.
