From AI Literacy to Teacher Agency
This event aims to explore the theoretical, ethical, and pedagogical implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies for English-language education contexts. Bringing together researchers, teachers, and teacher educators from Brazil and Portugal, it seeks to foster critical dialogue on how AI is reshaping language teaching, learning, and teacher education. Moving beyond AI literacy as purely technical competence, the symposium highlights the importance of developing teacher agency, enabling educators to make informed, reflective, and pedagogically grounded decisions about the use of AI in their professional practice.
