As the school year draws to a close and the warmth of summer approaches, Here Comes the Sun invites educators to pause, reflect, and renew. This mini-conference is a space for teachers to gently look back on the year gone by, acknowledging challenges, celebrating growth, and honouring the resilience that defines the teaching journey.

Rooted in mindfulness and compassion, the event encourages participants to reconnect with their sense of purpose and well-being. Through shared experiences, reflective practices, and meaningful dialogue, teachers will explore how to cultivate presence in the classroom and within themselves, even amidst uncertainty and change.

At the same time, the theme embraces the uplifting energy of summer, a season of light, possibility, and restoration. It is an opportunity to shift perspective, rediscover joy in teaching, and carry forward a renewed sense of optimism into the future.

Organised by the European Mindful and Compassionate ELT Project in collaboration with APPI Mindful SIG, TESOL Spain, and TESOL Hungary, this gathering aims to nurture a supportive professional community where educators can grow not only as teachers, but as mindful, compassionate individuals.
