Title: Naikan and the Art of Reflection: Nurturing Gratitude and Connection in the Classroom

Date & Time: June 14th, 2025, 9:30-10:45 (Lisbon Time), 10:30-11:45 (Central European Time)

Abstract:
Naikan is a simple yet profound Japanese method of self-reflection that nurtures gratitude, responsibility, and awareness of our impact on others. By exploring the three foundational questions of Naikan, teachers can cultivate a more humanized, compassionate classroom environment. In this session, we will experience how Naikan practice can shift classroom dynamics from expectation and judgment to appreciation and connection benefiting both teachers and learners.
