Celebrating 20 Years of APPInep

The APPI board is most happy to announce that APPInep – APPI's special interest group focused on pre-school and primary teaching in Portugal – is coming of age! Set up in April 2000 at the 14th Annual Conference in Porto, APPInep has played an important role in supporting teachers of English since then and built a comprehensive timeline of milestones and turning points in its 20-year history. Many teachers, places and events have impacted on its trajectory, and all of us at APPI/APPInep are thankful for each and every one of them. That is why we are but happy to celebrate APPInep's 20th anniversary even in this awkward time we have been living in.
So all APPI members are invited to join us in celebrating this festive event – the upcoming YL & VYL Online Conference ‘Celebrating 20 Years of APPInep’ - to be held on November 28th & December 5th 2020 at the APPI Zoom Platform. There will be a few webinars followed by a short period for questions, and workshops delegates are invited to interact in.

If you are a member and a pre-school and primary teacher of English (recruitment groups 120 & 220) who are highly motivated to learn about new trends and ways of doing with the English language in your classroom, please note: cost-free registrations are open now on a first-come, first-served basis. Non-members may register too (option between paying €40.00 or becoming a member - €35,00).
This Conference has been accredited by the Conselho Científico-Pedagógico da Formação Contínua – a total of 12 accredited hours to be granted to delegates (Grupos de Recrutamento 120 e 220*).
